Complete Transparency and Awareness.
To have absolute transparency and awareness of your whole fuel environment you can also test your tank.
BFIs
BFI (Bulk Fuel Installation) is a fuel management system that is designed to store, manage, and dispense fuel in bulk quantities. It typically consists of large fuel storage tanks, pipelines, pumps, and monitoring equipment.
BFI fuel management is a critical component of many industries, including the military, aviation, and transportation, where a steady supply of fuel is required. The system ensures that fuel is available on demand, and the inventory levels are maintained accurately.
BFI fuel management systems require regular maintenance and monitoring to ensure that they operate safely and efficiently.
MTFIs
With our specialist team, we can advise and guide you through what is necessary for a compliant and safe solution.
Spill Response
With over 30 years of experience working in the Defence sector, LCM Environmental Group has established itself as a leading spill responder on many MoD and DIO sites across the UK.
The LCM Environmental Group is committed to providing considerate, structured, and specialized support for fuel infrastructure projects and PPM works, covering UK & USAF Bases.

HVO Switchover
HVO (Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil) is a paraffinic diesel fuel
compatible with all diesel engines. It is produced by the
hydrotreatment of vegetable oils, grease waste, or residues from
the food/agriculture industry and is made of 100% renewable
raw materials.
HVO is the cleanest alternative fuel on the market that has been
supercharged with an enhanced organic additive. It reduces
CO2e by up to 90% and lowers greenhouse emissions
significantly.
HVO Fuel does not contain FAME (Fatty acid methyl ester) and
has a naturally high cetane number, which results in easy ignition
and reduced smoke and particulates emissions. HVO is a 100%
sustainable renewable paraffinic diesel substitute. It reduces
harmful emissions of NOX and total particulate matter (TPM).
Design & Build
Design and build services for fuel infrastructure in the military involve the complete process of planning, designing, constructing, and commissioning of fuel facilities such as storage tanks, pipelines, dispensing systems, and other related equipment.
The design phase involves the preparation of drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to meet the operational needs of the military, taking into consideration the site location, fuel requirements, safety, and environmental regulations.
The build phase is the actual construction of the facility, which involves excavation, installation of tanks, pipelines, and other equipment, and the testing of the system to ensure it meets the design specifications.
The design and build process ensures that the fuel infrastructure in the military is constructed to the highest standards and meets the specific operational requirements of the military.
Regular maintenance and monitoring are also crucial to ensure the system operates safely and efficiently.
